Over 15 Million people in the UK live with at least one long-term health condition. For many it can be hard to balance their health needs with their work load and their employer's expectations. It can be tricky as a manager to know what adjustments these individuals may need and how to manage them effectively without exacerbating their long-term health conditions.

To address this uncertainty, Affinity Health at Work has collaborated with the CIPD to produce the "Managing And Supporting Employees With Long-Term Health Conditions" Guide. Drawing on research and through consultation, we outline how managers and people professionals can effectively and compassionately manage and support employees with long-term health conditions. Helping those with long-term health conditions protecting their wellbeing and making them feel safe and valued at work so that they can perform at their best.
